The standard propane cylinder lifting system allows a single operator to safely load and unload one or two full or empty propane cylinders eliminating the risk of pinch or heavy lifting injuries.

Ready for Any Weather

Automatic gas controls have an environmental guard to protect them from rain and corrosive road spray.

With two propane cylinders mounted, the manifold system can provide improved extreme cold weather operation.

The water heating system in the reserve water tank protects the water from freezing allowing extended operation in extreme cold conditions.

Waterproof operators manual can be stored in the weather-proof toolbox for reference.

Built to Last

The 50 gallon (227 litres) reserve tank now has a stainless steel water heating system to enhance the Thompson Steamer's legendary reliability and durability.

The reserve tank drain hose and valve size have been increased to 1 inch to reduce long term maintenance requirements.

Storage for the high quality steam hose is optimized to reduce twisting - improving durability and longevity of the hose.

Safety First

All operational controls are located on the shoulder side of the Steamer, protecting operators from exposure to dangerous traffic flows.

All steamers are painted with high visibility, high quality orange or yellow industrial polyurethane paint.

The standard propane cylinder lifting system allows a single operator to safely load and unload one or two, full or empty propane cylinders eliminating the risk of pinch or heavy lifting injuries.

A high mounted, amber LED strobe light is available as an option to make the steamer and operators more visible in dangerous environments.

Steamers come with either a 3 ton rated 2-inch ball coupler OR a 6 ton rated 3 inch drawbar, and a 3/8" grade 70 safety chains with hooks, rubber mounted tail lights and 15" radial trailer tires - all part of the standard configuration.

A single point lifting lug is available as an option to ensure operator safety when lifting of the steamer is necessary. All steamers shipped from the factory via tractor trailer will have a mandatory lifting lug added.

Operator Focused

The factory installed weather-proof toolbox is now standard on all steamers for tool storage and a striker to ignite the lighter is included in the toolbox with every steamer.

The operator manual is printed on waterproof, tear resistant paper that can be kept with the steamer for reference and basic operating instructions are also included on the blue rating plate permanently attached to the boiler shroud.

100' of North American-made, high pressure steam hose comes standard with every steamer and the storage rack allows the hose to be conveniently stored on the steamer without twisting.
